Taste the Scottish whiskies and tour the Distilleries of Speyside or the Lowlands and stay overnight in the fabulous accommodation such as Craigellachie House Hotel or Fonab Castle.

Your first day will allow you to visit the Glenturret, (Famous Grouse), Distillery near Crieff in Perthshire and Edradour in Pitlochry before continuing north through the Cairngorm National Park and along the River Spey towards your overnight destination at the stunning Craigellachie Hotel which is tucked away in the rolling hills of Speyside and take the chance to sample from nearly 700 whiskies at the Quaich bar.

On your second day you will have the chance to visit one of the famous distilleries in this area - Macallan, Glenlivet, Glenfiddich and Aberlour to name a few and as you return south you may wish to visit the Deanston Distillery before returning to either Glasgow or Edinburgh.

In our Winter Tour you can visit Auchentoshan Distillery just to the north of Glasgow, one of the rare triple-distilled single malts in Scotland before visiting the Deanston Distillery just outside of Stirling and finally spending then night at Knock Castle Hotel located on the western edge of the historic Perthshire market town of Crieff with panoramic views of beautiful woodlands and the Perthshire hills.

This morning’s first visit is to the Glenturret, (Famous Grouse), Distillery followed by refreshments at The Birds and Bees Restaurant where they serve award winning food and finally a visit to Glengoyne Distillery where you will create your very own blended whisky before returning to either Glasgow or Edinburgh.

Peat Cutting on Islay

You will begin your tour staying at the fabulous Fonab Castle located on the banks of Loch Faskally and a short walk from the heart of the historic Victorian town of Pitlochry before travelling into the heart of Speyside where you will spend 2 nights and have the chance to visit several of the famous distilleries in this area - Macallan, Glenlivet, Glenfiddich and Aberlour to name a few.

Your tour continues by travelling west around Loch Ness visiting Culloden Battlefield, Urquhart Castle and enjoying a Loch cruise followed by a ferry crossing to the island of Islay for 2 nights where 8 distilleries await you and a unique opportunity to try the ancient art of peat cutting.

Returning to the mainland you will stop in the picturesque town of Inveraray on the banks of Loch Fyne before returning to Edinburgh and the option of spending a day or two exploring this fabulous capital city before making your journey home.
